International Foundation Diploma (IFD) is a one-year pre-university qualification which includes a significant degree of English language teaching, along with 5 other core modules that include Foundation Mathematics, Culture Studies (with specific focus on the country of choice for Higher Education), Study & Communication Skills, English for Academic Purpose, Advanced IELTS preparation. The student will have the choice of picking a line of specialisation from Health Science, Business, Engineering, and Computing that will include 2 elective modules that will be covered as part of the IFD programme.
The IFD qualification is designed to provide an entry route to Higher Education in universities in the UK, USA, Australia, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Canada, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, Uzbekistan, and China. The courses that can be pursued include Medicine, Computing, Law, Business, Arts & Science, Fine Arts & Performance Art, Humanities & Social Science, and Business IT among others. Some of the universities have a promise of guaranteed admissions into their university for students with IFD completion certification.
